    Summary
An excellent light meter for the studio; less so on location due to fiddly attachments to switch between reflected & incident readings. The interface is reasonably easy to use. Lightweight & not excessively burdensome if used on location.

    Strengths
    Accurate
    Lightweight
    Uses AA batteries
    Straightforward to use
Both cord and cordless flash metering
    Displays flash/ambient light ratios

    Weaknesses

    Feels a little fragile

    Summary
This meter is very similar to the original auto meter. I do not know the differences between the two. Maybe somebody, in another review, will be able to explain this.
This is a great meter! The LCD is extremely easy to read and the layout is flawless. Has averaging and memory

    Strengths
The accuracy of this machine is splendid. I took about 10 different reading of different scenes and with the Minolta Auto Meter. Then I took the same metering with an F5 and the results were incredibly exact.

    Weaknesses
I know somebody who has an Auto Meter and it dropped only 2 feet. Busted. They are delicate!!

    Similar Products Used
    none.
