Summary
Very good lens, but not necessarily a stand-out, other than it's class-leading image circle in that focal length. It's older version even has a bit more IC (228mm vs. 214mm) which may be a deciding factor if you're using 5x7 sheets or 6x17 Panorama and still want movements.
Strengths
Sharp lens with good IC and Fuji's wonderful EBC coating.
Weaknesses
67mm filter size.
Similar Products Used
(Single coated lenses only): 135mm/f5.6 Fujinon-W in Seiko shutter (has even better coverage); 135mm/f5.6 Symmar-S. 135mm/f6.3 Wide Field Ektar (my WF Ektar copy was underwhelming by the way, it had a lot of cleaning marks and was everything but sharp wide open; needless to say I sold it quickly, I had the Symmar-S for a long time and it was my favorite, until I changed up in formats.....). I now use the older Fujinon-W: Basically same picture quality, lighter than the new CM-W and a bit more room in 5x7. Filter size 46mm.
Customer Service
not yet needed. I get my shutters serviced at Flutot's Camera Repairs, in Whittier, California. They're very good, friendly and not expensive.
