Summary I was a loyal customer of ofoto for the past three years, but when I went to sign up for a photo service for my phone, I learned how terrible ofoto was at service. They told me that my Treo was not supported by their service after I paid my membership fee. When I asked for my $35 back(not that much money I agree, but it quickly became about doing the right thing here!), they told me that I was out of luck.
I never went back to them, and have since moved 30-40 of my friends away from ofoto and over to Shutterfly. And I have been happy ever since. I won't even open ofoto links, out of protest.

Summary I've been using them since they were ofoto...at least three years now. To sum up, I sent them this email: "Hello, I've been a satisfied customer ever since you've been ofoto (different accounts), and haven't had any problems. But the last order I was disappointed because about 50 4x6 prints and a couple of 8x11's were shipped in a thin 8x11 fedex envelope without reinforcement. And the bulk of the 4x6 prints bent my 8x11's. Would you be able to insert some sort of cardboard reinforcement if all those prints are going to be shipped in that type of envelope. I've had no problems with just 4x6's being shipped in that manner because they haven't come bent. But the 8x11's came bent and I wish I had perfect 8x11's to give to my fiance. I'd be happy to pay a little more to have my 8x11's shipped in a sturdier box especially if there's a stack of 4x6's included. Please let me know because I have some prints for Christmas I would like to print for my fiance and I. Thank you." I would like to think that they're not trying to be cheap in their means of delivery...but stuffing everything and just throwing in the 8x11's to get bent is unacceptable.

Summary Impresing! I decided to try it out since they were giving 10 free photos for new members and I used a 2.2 Kodak digital camera to see the results. I printed 20 pics, They were amazing. I had never had quality prints like that even with regular film cameras. It seems that they used the best paper possible and the colors were simply sharp. I did not know it was possible to get such sharpness with a 2.2 Mp. I don't even think I have to use my 4.0 Megap. for that at all but will give it a try just to check.
Strengths Best paper, perfect resolution 4x6, never tried larger prints but will definetly try. fast shipping.PERFECT.

Summary I was extremely disappointed in the quality of Ofoto's framing. Two out of three of the 8x10 framed photos that arrived today are cropped smaller than the size of the mat opening, so that the cardboard beneath is visible around the edges. The glass on one frame is scratched, and on the other there is a black magic marker line either on the other side of the glass or on the mat. They all have visible fingerprints. I called Customer Service and was told of their so-called 100% guarantee policy, in which I have to pay for the shipping to return the framed photos in order to have them redone. These are the first three of 7 or 8 photos I had framed. I hope those will not arrive in the same condition. Getting a shipping credit on my next order does not count as a 100% guarantee to me. Up to this point I had been happy with Ofoto's services which I have been using for several years, but will now seek another company for my photo needs. As one other review says: "You get what you pay for."
