Summary VERY POOR QUALITY. Most of the images have a dark tone on them. Not to mention that the original crispness of the image is lost.
To give imagestation a fair review I searched on the web and found similar complaints not only from users but also Review Editors, like the following:

Absolute waste of money. Fortunately I did not have to call Customer Service and experience the pathetic experience that other users here have commented on.
Strengths On time delivery (maybe I was lucky), came in about 4 days.
Summary Do not use this company! They have the worst customer service! I ordered a photo crystal on December 6, hoping it would be here in time for Christmas. I got an email on Demeber 20 that stated there was a problem. I called customer service and they just kept saying 'I'm sorry sir' , it would be put in 'escalated' status, and someone would contact me. It's Decmeber 26 and I have yet to hear anything!
Strengths absolutely none.
Weaknesses Poor customer service, does not deliver on time.
Summary I used Sony Imagestation to make a christmas card (folding 5x7" card) out of a snow-scene I shot last winter. The online tool was easy to use. I ordered the card on the Friday before Thanksgiving, it shipped on the Tuesday after Thanksgiving, so 5-8 business days I figure. The cards are good quality - the cardstock is fairly substantial and the envelopes are as well. They basically look and feel like the quality of boxed cards you would buy at the drugstore or Walmart or something. (Even the box they come in looks like the boxes those store cards come in, with the cardboard bottom and the clear plastic top. They have a silver stretchy tie around them and everything - I'm now thinking that I could even make cards for people as gifts.) They provide 21 envelopes and 20 cards in a box. I appreciate the extra envelope.
I used brown lettering on the inside and the color was pretty true to the color I saw on the screen when I made the card (they have a lot of color options) - but I know that can vary by screens.
Overall I was very happy with it. One envelope had a little brown or dirt or something on it at the very top edge, but out of 44 that's not bad. They're email updates when I placed the order and they shipped the cards were both pretty funny looking, but I didn't care much about that.

Summary I ordered some cards on September 9, 2006. I received the order on September 15, 2006. It was not done right. After a long time online and on the phone, they agreed to re-do the order. It is now September 26, 2006, and my order has not been shipped. I have called several times and they tell me that they will escalate the issue but nothing ever happens.
Summary Sony Imagestation's online site has to be the worst site on the web for getting products with pictures on them. THE WORST! They
Customer service is non existent. their online help is not helpful. Getting their 800 customer service is difficult. I finally had to get snotty with online help to get the number.
I ordered mugs. They arrived broken. They promised to get them to me by a certain date... they didn't. When i called them they just repeated a stock response three times... no matter what question i asked.
Strengths My experience says they have no strengths
Weaknesses Weakness... customer support is trying to say the least. Not helpful... doesn't keep promises... not even an, "i'm sorry for the trouble you had."
Similar Products Used i've used others... i will again
